There are a number of reasons why we don’t kill the emergency room doctors at one of our local hospitals:

• The first reason is that it would be wrong to do so, even though the doctors deserve to die.
• The second reason is that God would chastise us.
• The third reason is that unjustified killing is against the law.
• The fourth reason is that it is good to show mercy in this case.
